Remain committed to the goal of making the City of Golden government as open, transparent, and accessible as possible. Continue broadcasting city council meetings, ensuring that documents and information are readily accessible, and making it as easy as possible for community members to meaningfully participate in their local government.

Status: Golden City Council adopted an Inclusive Cities resolution late in 2006. Later this year we should evaluate how inclusive the City of Golden already is, identify areas for improvement, and adopt and begin implementing a plan to improve on our weaknesses. Many of the efforts undertaken in 2006 (e.g., broadcasting city council meetings) are still underway.
